What Mine Red Base Does

Mine Red Base is a fully offline documentation system designed exclusively for Minecraft redstone engineers. It replaces scattered screenshots and forgotten notes with organized mechanism cards that contain your build instructions, logic explanations, and progress history.

Every mechanism you create becomes a permanent card with step-by-step build stages, photo documentation, and your personal notes about timing circuits or block placement. The app performs zero automatic calculations and connects to no network, ensuring your engineering knowledge base remains entirely yours.

Track which contraptions are active works-in-progress and which are completed builds. Organize by custom categories like Farms, Doors, Traps, or Defense. When you return to a half-finished TNT cannon six months later, your exact notes and photos are exactly where you left them.

Core Capabilities

Mechanism Cards

Create dedicated cards for each redstone contraption with title, purpose description, and "How it works" logic explanations. Tag mechanisms by category: Compact, Defense, Doors, Farms, Lighting, Storage, Transport, or Traps. Each card shows creation date, last update timestamp, and current Active or Done status with color-coded badges.

Build Stages System

Break complex builds into named stages like "Barrel Construction" or "Firing Circuit". Each stage contains step-by-step instructions, attached photos showing block placement, and personal notes about critical details. Stages track completion with checkmarks and contribute to overall mechanism progress percentage displayed as gradient bars from orange to blue.

Progress Tracking

Monitor which mechanisms are Active works-in-progress versus Done completed builds. View progress percentages and stage completion fractions like "3/4 stages". Timeline history shows chronological events: mechanism created, stages added, builds completed with precise timestamps. Statistics dashboard displays total mechanisms, completed count, and in-progress count.

Custom Category Tags

Organize mechanisms with color-coded category tags. Default categories include Compact (cyan), Defense (purple), Doors (red), Farms (green), Lighting (orange), Storage (blue), Transport (yellow), and Traps (red). Each tag shows mechanism count and features edit and delete controls. Filter the main mechanism list by tapping category pills in the horizontal scrollable row.

Photo Documentation

Attach photos directly to build stages showing exact block placement and redstone wiring. Add images to overall mechanism cards for quick visual reference. The app stores photos locally within each mechanism's data structure. When you revisit a build months later, every photo remains exactly where you placed it during the original construction process.

Complete Data Ownership

Mine Red Base operates entirely offline with zero network features. No cloud sync, no automatic uploads, no account creation. The app performs no automatic calculations or data processing beyond basic sorting and filtering. Your redstone engineering knowledge base exists only on your iPad with complete privacy. No external service can access, modify, or analyze your mechanism documentation.

Built For You If...

The Serial Builder

You start ambitious redstone projects every week but your camera roll contains 400 unlabeled build screenshots mixed with everything else. You can't remember which piston door design actually worked or where you documented that compact item sorter timing.

Mine Red Base gives each project its own persistent card with named build stages and searchable tags. When you return to that half-finished mob grinder three months later, your exact wiring notes and progress photos are waiting in the app.

The Technical Engineer

You build complex contraptions with precise timing requirements and specific block placement rules. You need to document not just what you built but how the redstone logic actually functions so you can replicate or modify it later without reverse-engineering your own work.

The "How it works" field and detailed build stages let you write engineering explanations alongside construction steps. Tag mechanisms by complexity and search your knowledge base when designing new contraptions that need similar logic patterns.

The Privacy-Focused Player

You refuse to upload your creative work to cloud services or create yet another account just to save build notes. You want your redstone designs to remain on your device with zero network connectivity or external dependencies.

This app has no login screen, no sync settings, and no internet permission requests. Your mechanism database lives exclusively on your iPad and the app performs no background uploads or analytics tracking of any kind.
